It is most important to make certain you are insuring your jewelry for the appropriate values evaluated by Ryan Larrison, a certified GIA Jeweler (Gemologists Institute of America). Most insurance companies insist on an appraisal completed by a certified GIA jeweler. When entrusting your precious pieces to our insured location, it is important to know that your jewelry is insured and safe at Golden Sails. We insure your jewelry at no extra charge. Custom Jewelry Design
Our custom design manufacturing studio facility is one of the most diversified in the industry. Catering to each customer’s design needs, we employ two carving techniques: Hand Mauled Drawn or Hand Carved (waxed) and CAD design and carved wax. By using our newest software in CAD, our designs still have a custom look, but the piece is more technically accurate.
Our casting metals are of the highest grade in the business, and all of our custom pieces are guaranteed for the life of the piece.
Diamond Re-cuts
Diamond re-cutting and “from rough”, cutting services are available with proof of origin or purchase.

Engraving
Golden Sails Jewelers can engrave any piece of jewelry with any text in several fonts. Ask us for more details.
Eyeglass Repair
Eyeglass repair can be done using gold solder and most metals accept gold solder (excluding titanium and stainless steel) These metals would require a plasma welder. Golden Sails has the only Plasma Welder apparatus in Pinellas County. Repairs run $35.00, and up, and will be finished the same day.
Specializing in hard to do repairs, if necessary, we can complete most repairs while you wait.
Jewelry Repairs
At Golden Sails Jewelers all repairs, from conventional to “hard – to -do repairs”, are taken in. We repair everything, and all types of jewelry are accepted. We can solder all metals by employing our special plasma welder. Most jewelers do not have this capability.
Laser Inscription on Diamonds
We offer inscriptions on diamonds for identification, and or romantic verses.
Rolex Service & Repairs
In terms of watches, movement is the motor and heart in every watch and consists of both electrical and mechanical parts Each Rolex watch needs to be cleaned and serviced every 5 years. If not, the Rolex will display incorrect time readings. The reason behind this is, microscopic organisms grow in the mechanical gears over time, thus leading to incorrect time keeping. Rolex repairs are only performed by factory trained technicians. There is no watch we cannot fix.
Most new watch battery installations may be done while you wait.
Special Orders for Events
Golden Sails Jewelers also fulfills special orders for events such as weddings, graduations, senior class rings, sweet sixteen, and Bar Mitzvahs and Bat Mitzvahs. From one unique piece, to a large order of several items of jewelry, we can accommodate your needs.
Stone Cutting
In addition to diamond cutting, we cut other stones, such as rubies, emeralds, sapphires and many more including semi-precious stones. We create custom shapes, or re-cut stones to fit a new contemporary setting.
